Design of Intelligent Hydraulic Systems for Customized Braking Applications

Develop innovative brake solutions for demanding applications. Together with competent colleagues in the Application & Control Department, you will be involved in projects related to customer-specific applications that must function in environments such as underwater turbines, submarines, elevators, or high-altitude mountain settings in Tibet.

Based on specifications and timelines, projects are led by a Project Manager. This allows you to focus on the technical aspects of the projects as well as managing your own project timeline. Your tasks will include:

Technical adjustments of the core product and components for braking systems

Design and construction of braking systems and components, including hydraulic systems

Leading and ensuring the execution of testing these designs in the test center and production facilities

Preparing technical documentation, including drawings and bills of materials (BOMs)

Participation in development projects, including new material types and customer-specific projects

Qualifications

You have a strong passion for engineering and hydraulics and are experienced in mechanical design, hydraulics, and electrical control systems. You are motivated by continually developing your skills. You most likely hold a degree in mechatronics or mechanical engineering and have at least three years of professional experience. You take a structured approach to your work, maintain a strong overview of tasks and processes, and understand that respecting specifications and timelines leads to the best results and strongest collaboration. You communicate effectively with people from different professional backgrounds and interact effortlessly with both customers and colleagues across departments. Additionally, you are fully comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
