We are looking for a new Head of Marketing & Innovation to be part of our Nordic team that is in charge of Arla's premium product range. You will lead a team of brand and content experts and report to Director, Head of Arla Unika.
How will you make an impact
As the Head of Marketing & Innovation, you will create and implement the marketing and communications plan that aligns with the Arla Unika's strategy. You and your colleagues will raise awareness and improve Arla's image through excellent communication and active media and stakeholder relations across all channels.
You will be responsible for executing Arla Unika's innovation strategy across our brands: Unika X and Unika. You will develop a pipeline of innovative products and lead the development projects together with experts from NPD, dairies and product management.
You will also help expand a popular and high-end brand among chefs and consumers in a varied market context. In essence you will be responsible for:
Developing and deliver the yearly Arla Unika marketing, innovation and comms plans
Lead execution of NPD projects in cross-functional teams with experts from Arla
Manage Arla Unika's product portfolio across markets and brands
Manage the marketing budget to ensure optimal ROI
Develop effective communication assets in line with Arla Unika strategy
Lead, develop and execute digital communication and storytelling for Arla Unika
Identify and develop relations to key influencers, journalists and stakeholders
Lead and manage Arla Unika's media relations and external communication to build the Arla Unika brand and lift Arla's reputation
Manage sponsorships and collaborations together with the sales teams
Work with local communications teams to ensure alignment and premium execution of strategy
Secure strategic alignment across key stakeholders in all markets (communication, categories, all sales channels, etc.)
What will make you successful
You have 5-10 years of experience within marketing, innovation and communication with premium brands. You have worked in foodservice and/or retail, done/overseen editorial work in owned and earned channels, and sponsored collaborations for brand building. You are business-minded and visionary with a history of positive impact.
Further:
You are driven to get things done and like to have many irons in the fire simultaneously
You are creative and visionary with a passion for brand building
You have strong project management skills and can lead and coach team members to execute projects, e.g. innovations
Your strong influencing skills enable you to engage efficiently with stakeholders at all levels and across a global matrix organization
You think strategically, creatively, and structurally
Speak and write English and either Danish or Swedish fluently
Preferable, you have had people manager experience already, but this is not a requirement
On a personal level, you are passionate about gastronomy and dairy products. An existing strong network or platform within the gastronomic world will be beneficial for you, but is not a requirement.
