Back-End Developer

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in Aalborg. As a Back-End Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications as well as collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain efficient and reusable server-side code

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements

Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing systems

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role

Strong experience with programming languages such as Java Python or Ruby on Rails

Proficient understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade EJS etc

Familiarity with database design principles and SQL databases eg MySQL

Experience working with front-end technologies like HTMLCSSJavaScript is a plus

Good understanding of security principles and how they apply to web development

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary This position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per month

Location This position is based in Aalborg Denmark

Candidates must either have the right to work in Denmark or be able to obtain a valid work visa
