We are hiring a highly organized and experienced Librarian Supervisor to join our team in Horsens. As a Librarian Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the library overseeing staff and ensuring efficient and effective services to patrons.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and train library staff including scheduling and performance management
Oversee collection development including selection acquisition and weeding of materials
Develop and maintain library policies and procedures
Plan and implement programs and events for all ages
Provide reference services to patrons and assist with research inquiries
Maintain accurate records of library transactions and statistics
Collaborate with community organizations to promote library services
Keep up-to-date with industry trends technologies and best practices
Requirements Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field Masters preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in a library setting with supervisory responsibilities
Strong knowledge of library systems resources and technologies
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well with a diverse community
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Benefits This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 900$ per month
