Turner - Roskilde

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team in Roskilde Denmark As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes mills and other machinery to shape metal parts according to specifications You will work with a variety of materials including steel and aluminum to produce high-quality components for various industries

Key Responsibilities Set up and operate lathes milling machines grinders and other tools to fabricate metal parts

Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances

Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role

Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments

Knowledge of different types of metalworking machinery and their functions

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances

Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when needed

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
