What is IQX?

FOSS IQX is an all-in-one software solution that empowers businesses in the food and agriculture industry to optimize efficiency, enhance quality control, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. With cloud-based tools for device management, food safety, and supplier quality, IQX enables data-backed decisions, reduces paperwork, and simplifies compliance reporting.

Within the IQX department at FOSS, our team of over 30 talented software developers, QA engineers, and UI/UX experts is dedicated to creating exceptional SaaS solutions. We are now looking for a skilled Backend Developer to bring fresh ideas and technical expertise to our growing team.

The role

Foss IQX is responsible for developing innovative cloud based services using data from our analytical instruments, and is, therefore, a significant contribution to the success of our product launches.

You will be part of an agile team and your primary tasks will involve:

Design solutions accommodate new requirements and adapt new cloud technologies

Integrate third party solutions such as SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake and others

Deliver a high quality cloud services, ensure proper test coverage, optimize performance

Design and maintain infrastructure using the Infrastructure as Code approach

For this we will provide proper training and introduction to our platforms, how our digital solutions are developed and insight into the specific digital platform requirements and specifications. We further expect you to work in an open and transparent fashion in a cross-border collaboration between the new team in Pecs and cloud development at HQ. Our solutions are mainly implemented using C# and based on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven track record as a strong backend developer in C#/.NET environment

Experience in database development, management (SQL) and queries performance troubleshooting

Proven experience in MS Azure

Designing and developing using TDD strong commitment to covering code by Unit and Integration tests

Clean code and design patterns

Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken

It is an advantage if you have:

Proven experience in MS Azure Devops [Strong advantage]

Solid experience with client/server development or similar architectures including development of robust Web APIs

Reading and writing OpenAPI specifications

Experience with data lake solutions on azure and data analytics tools like Snowfake

Knowledge of Agile development
