We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in Roskilde As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our companys databases ensuring their security and efficiency This is a part-time position that is ideal for students or those looking for flexible working hours
Responsibilities Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups data purging and indexing
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and performing audits
Collaborate with other teams to design and implement new databases or make changes to existing ones
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 1 year of experience working with databases such as MySQL or Oracle
Knowledge of SQL programming language
Familiarity with database design principles and best practices
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
