Freelance Web Designer

Freelance Web Designer We are currently looking for a highly skilled and creative Freelance Web Designer to join our team in Copenhagen on a contract basis. As a web designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of design principles, web development, and user experience to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective website designs

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts

Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimized for various devices

Conduct regular website maintenance and updates as needed

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements Proven work experience as a web designer or similar role

Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with knowledge of coding standards and best practices

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design software

Strong understanding of user experience design principles

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members

Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

Experience working on e-commerce websites or other complex projects

Knowledge of SEO principles for website optimization

Salary This is a contract position paying $1300 per project. The final salary will be based on the complexity of the project and your level of experience.

Location This is an urgent job based in Copenhagen. However, we are open to remote candidates who are able to communicate effectively through virtual platforms.
