We are hiring a Junior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Herning. As a Junior Database Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companys databases ensuring their integrity and security. You will also assist in troubleshooting any database issues and optimizing performance. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone with a passion for data and strong problem-solving skills. No prior experience is required but knowledge of database management systems and SQL is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary of 1800$ per month along with accommodation and visa sponsorship opportunities.
Responsibilities Assist in managing the companys databases ensuring data integrity and security
Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
Monitor database performance and make necessary optimizations
Collaborate with other teams to ensure data consistency across systems
Implement backup and recovery plans to ensure data availability
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates patches and backups
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technology
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Basic knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle
Familiarity with SQL query language
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills
Prior experience not required but considered a plus
