We are in search of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Horsens As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our companys databases ensuring their security integrity and performance Your role will also involve monitoring database activity troubleshooting any issues that may arise and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency
Responsibilities Install and configure database software
Monitor database activity and performance
Troubleshoot any issues or errors that arise
Ensure data security and integrity
Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
Optimize database performance through index tuning and other methods
Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database structures
Create complex queries for data analysis and reporting purposes
Maintain documentation of database processes and procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest database trends technologies and best practices
Requirements Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
In-depth knowledge of SQL language
Strong understanding of database management systems DBMS
Experience with data backup recovery and security protocols
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Salary 1400$
