Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Database Administrator to join our team in Vejle Denmark. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our companys databases ensuring data security and integrity and providing technical support to users. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Database Administrator and be able to work independently with strong attention to detail. This is a perfect opportunity for a student looking to gain experience in their field while also earning income. Accommodation can be provided if necessary.

Responsibilities Monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments

Troubleshooting database issues and providing technical support to users

Ensuring data security and integrity through regular backups and updates

Managing user access and permissions

Creating and implementing database policies and procedures

Collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operation of systems

Requirements Previous experience as a Database Administrator or similar role

Knowledge of database management systems MySQL Oracle SQL Server

Familiarity with data backup recovery and security methods

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail
