Web Designer

We are hiring a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team in Greenland.

As a Web Designer you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their requirements and creating designs that meet their needs. You should have a strong understanding of design principles, excellent coding skills and be up-to-date with the latest web design trends. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and create design concepts

Design wireframes, mockups, and layouts for websites

Develop websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies

Ensure website designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional

Test websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure compatibility

Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into projects

Requirements Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Creative Suite

Strong understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography and layout

Knowledge of responsive web design techniques

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications Degree in Web Design or related field

Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation

Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
