Mer information About the position

We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the Experimental Control & Data Curation (ECDC) group in the Neutron Scattering Systems (NSS) division.

The ECDC group is a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring seamless scientific experimentation at ESS. The team is a matrixed collection of experts from various software and controls regimes that operates within the Science Directorate's Neutron Scattering Systems (NSS) division - but which maintains strong connections with the Operations and Machine Directorate and our Integrated Control Systems Division.

About you

A suitable background for this position would include:

Good written and oral communication skills in English

Minimum age 18 years

Legal right to work in Denmark

We believe that you enjoy communicating and collaborating with a variety of people in an international environment. You are good at taking initiative, not afraid to ask questions, and are able to think outside the box.

Duration and location

This is a summer work position of up to 3 months.Planned start date is 2026-06-01, or per agreement.

Your workplace is on-site at DMSC (building 305, DTU) in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.
