We are excited to welcome a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Kolding As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and financial tasks ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and providing support to the senior accounting team This is an entry-level position perfect for candidates with a strong interest in finance and accounting who are looking to gain valuable experience
Responsibilities Assist with bookkeeping and record-keeping tasks
Prepare and process invoices expense reports and other financial documents
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
Assist with month-end close processes
Generate financial reports as needed
Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy of financial data
Support the senior accounting team in various tasks as assigned
Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or currently pursuing
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software eg Quickbooks
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounting
Preferred Qualifications Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Fluency in Danish or willingness to learn
Salary 1000$ per month
