Android Developer

We are a leading technology company in Aalborg and we are currently hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Android platform and its various components as well as excellent programming skills in Java and Kotlin. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs is also required.

Responsibilities Develop test and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features

Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications

Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner

Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development

Strong understanding of the Android SDK different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes

Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services

Experience with third-party libraries such as Retrofit Gson Glide etc

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
