A leading manufacturing company in Herning is seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team. As a Fitter Technician you will be responsible for assembling and installing machinery and equipment according to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision tools and machines as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Responsibilities Assemble machinery and equipment according to technical specifications
Use precision tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges to ensure proper fit and alignment
Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
Install bearings gears shafts belts chains etc
Test machinery for proper functioning
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly or installation
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of precision tools and machines such as calipers micrometers etc
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
Strong understanding of mechanical principles
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina for standing bending lifting heavy objects for extended periods of time
Benefits This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary starting at 1800$ per month
