Database Administrator - Part Time (Aalborg)

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Aalborg The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database management systems and experience with data security and integrity They will also be able to troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities Design implement and maintain databases according to company needs

Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and access control measures

Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement

Troubleshoot and resolve any database issues that arise in a timely manner

Collaborate with other teams to integrate data from various sources into the database

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role

Strong understanding of database management systems such as MySQL Oracle or SQL Server

Experience with data security measures including backups and access control

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly and efficiently

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure

Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL or Python
