Profession Database Administrator City Aalborg Denmark We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Aalborg As a Junior Database Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the security availability and integrity of our companys databases This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in database administration
Responsibilities Install configure and maintain database software
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing backup and recovery strategies
Collaborate with other teams to develop efficient database solutions for new projects
Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as updates patches and upgrades
Develop and maintain documentation on database procedures and guidelines
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or currently pursuing
Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
Understanding of database design principles
Familiarity with SQL programming language
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary This is a paid position with a salary of $1400 per month
Location This position is based in Aalborg Denmark
Applicants must have valid work authorization in Denmark
