Responsibilities A database administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the company's databases.
They are involved in the planning and development of database systems as well as troubleshooting and maintaining them to ensure they run efficiently.
You will manage the company's databases and ensure they are properly designed, implemented, and maintained.
You will work closely with IT teams to develop and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications Strong understanding of database management systems.
SQL programming skills.
Experience with database design.
Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Previous experience working with databases.
Degree in computer science or a related field.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python would be beneficial.
