We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Kolding As a Junior Database Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our companys databases to ensure efficient data management and secure access to information This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in database administration
Responsibilities Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Create and maintain database backups and recovery plans
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and updates
Collaborate with other teams to design develop and implement new databases or changes to existing ones
Provide technical support to end-users for database-related issues
Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Basic knowledge of SQL and database management systems eg MySQL Oracle
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proven ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Previous internship or work experience in database administration
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools eg ETL
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
