Architectural Technologist

An architectural technologist is responsible for supporting the design and construction process of buildings. They work closely with architects, engineers and other professionals to create detailed technical drawings, plans and specifications for building projects. As an Architectural Technologist in Greenland you will play a crucial role in shaping the built environment of this unique and beautiful country.

Responsibilities Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop building plans and designs

Create detailed technical drawings using computer‑aided design (CAD) software

Prepare specifications and materials lists for construction projects

Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design plans

Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve any technical issues during construction

Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to building codes and sustainability practices

Use your creativity to problem‑solve and find innovative solutions for design challenges

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural technology or a similar role

Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit

Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and sustainability practices

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
